The cooling specialist. What do a wind turbine, an icebreaker, a passenger car, and an ice cream cooler have in common? Nissens manufactures coolers for all of them. Nissens also supplies complete cooling systems for Danish wind turbines that withstand wind storms of up to 160 km/h in the North Sea. One would think that there's a significant temperature reduction in the engine's water cooler, yet the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet is only 6-8 °C. The engine block couldn't withstand a larger difference without cracking. It's noteworthy that the air-contact cooling surface of a passenger car is more than 2m2. Nissens is also leading in motorsports. They supply the water cooler for the Le Mans 24-hour race winner Audi.
