Safe with ATE brakes The name ATE is associated with groundbreaking innovations such as the first tandem master cylinder, the first brake booster, and the Electronic Stability Program (ESP). Thanks to its high-quality products, ATE is an official supplier to several renowned car manufacturers, including BMW, Daimler-Chrysler, General Motors, Honda, Porsche, Toyota, and Volkswagen.

In 1978, ATE supplied the high-performance brake discs for the legendary BMW M1 race car. This vehicle was BMW’s first and so far only mid-engine model, with a total production of only 450 units. In 2008, BMW honored the M1’s racing success on its 30th anniversary with a concept car named BMW M1 Hommage. In 2008, Toyota awarded ATE the "Best Supplier" title in recognition of its outstanding performance.
