Is there a guarantee for products ordered from the online shop?

If the product is covered by a separate manufacturer's warranty, which is available to the buyer in addition to the warranty, this will be stated in the product description. This guarantee is only valid for the product in question, and the buyer's claims are subject to the manufacturer's guarantee conditions and are exclusively against the manufacturer. The warranty period is 1 year.

How does the guarantee management process work?

 

  1. For up to 1 year after receipt of your order, you can indicate your wish to return the product by using the Returns section.
  2. The product must be repackaged, accompanied by an invoice and warranty card, and prepared for return.
  3. The cost of returning the product is borne by the seller. Once the details and date have been specified, a courier service will be sent to collect the parcel and return it to the logistics centre.
  4. When the part is returned, the investigation begins.
  5. The request takes 2-3 weeks to process.
  6. After the results of the investigation, we will contact the customer:
      • If the result indicates that the warranty is valid, we will send the replacement part to the customer. Or you can opt for a refund.
      • If the inspection shows that the warranty is not valid, there will be no replacement or refund. The tested product will be returned upon request - AutoAz will pay the return shipping cost. If you do not request the product back, we will destroy it.
  • The warranty is valid for 1 year from the date of receipt of the product.
  • In the case of a Warranty & Guarantee claim, the cost of returning the old part is paid by the seller.
  • If a used part of another category is returned, the warranty is not valid.
  • In the case of combined damage, damage to other parts may also be covered.

The Seller is not liable for any defects for which the Buyer is responsible, the cause(s) of which are:

  • In case of natural wear and tear
  • In case of natural wear and tear
  • Natural wear and tear
  • Unfair or improper use
  • Faulty assembly, in particular if the ordered part is obviously unsuitable
  • Failure to observe the instructions for use
  • Incorrect handling or repair
  • In case of defective parts
  • The label on the packaging must not be missing, must not be soiled and must not contain any additional markings or inscriptions.
  • The product cannot be accurately identified
  • If the product returned does not match the one sent.

When is the warranty not valid?

The Seller shall not be liable for any defects for which the Buyer is responsible, the cause(s) of which are:

 

  • In case of natural wear and tear
  • Natural wear and tear
  • Unfair or improper use
  • Faulty assembly, in particular if the ordered part is obviously unsuitable
  • Failure to observe the instructions for use
  • Incorrect handling or repair
  • In case of defective sub-assemblies
  • The label on the packaging must not be missing, must not be soiled and must not contain any additional markings or inscriptions.
  • The product cannot be precisely identified
  • If the returned product does not match the one sent.
